One in four teens experience abuse in their dating relationships. This violence doesn’t have to happen. You can help stop it by joining Young Leaders Against Violence or YLAV - a youth-led coalition focused on increasing awareness and preventing relationship and sexual violence. Being a part of YLAV provides the opportunity to be a leader and energize our community to take a stand against violence. YLAV accepts high school and college students. Apply online at ylav.org or email us for more information at stopviolencegrteens@gmail.com

YLAV meets twice a month to organize events, plan social media campaigns and meet with community leaders and legislators. Participants develop valuable organizing skills learned while engaging in grass roots advocacy efforts.
